Memphis Depay , commonly known simply as Memphis, is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a winger for French club Lyon and the Dutch national team. Depay was named the "Best Young Player" in the world in 2015 by France Football. Depay was widely considered to be one of the brightest young talents in European football and the most exciting young player to emerge from the Eredivisie since compatriot Arjen Robben. Depay is known for his ability to cut inside, dribbling, distance shooting and ability to play the ball off the ground.
